Perrysburg man charged with rape

A 49-year-old Perrysburg man was charged Tuesday with four counts of first-degree felony rape involving a child under the age of 13, according to Perrysburg police.

Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence at 402 West Third St., where Kevin R. Scott resides, police said. He was interviewed about alleged offenses and then charged. He was held in the Wood County Jail; bond was set at $300,000.

The offenses allegedly occurred between June 1, 2003, and Aug. 31, 2006.
