3 hurt in Monroe Street crash

Authorities respond to a three-vehicle crash on Monroe Street just east of Whiteford Road in Sylvania Township. The Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said three people were hurt about 4 p.m. Sunday when a westbound pickup struck a car and flipped. The eastbound car was hit from behind by another car. Each car had one person, the drivers, who had nonlife-threatening injuries, officers said. Two were taken to Toledo Hospital and the third went to Flower Hospital.
