BRYAN — A married couple from Oregon were arraigned recently in Bryan Municipal Court on one count each of assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony.

Donald Swan, Jr., 46, and his wife, Desiree, 28, are held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on $30,000 bond each. He is also held on a felony fugitive warrant from Missouri charging him with driving while intoxicated.

The Swans were arrested Thursday afternoon north of Montpelier after a Williams County sheriff’s deputy stopped their vehicle. They had in their possession products they had purchased that are used to make methamphetamine, including pseudoephedrine, according to Sheriff Kevin Beck, who said the case is under investigation.
