Sobriety checkpoint set for McCord Road
4/22/2011The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office and the county OVI task force will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 9 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on McCord Road south of Angola Road in Springfield Township.
The checkpoint will be staffed by task force members from the sheriff’s office, plus troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol and police officers from Sylvania Township, Holland, and Metroparks of the Toledo Area.
The effort is funded through grants from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
