Highway Patrol troopers will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night in Wood County.
The checkpoint, from 9 p.m. to midnight, will be on State Route 51.
Saturation patrols also will work with the checkpoint to "aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes," according to the Highway Patrol.
The patrol encourages anyone who is out drinking to have a designated driver or plan for alternate transportation.
Law enforcement agencies are required by state law to announce sobriety check points.
