BELLEVUE, Ohio — A robber displayed a handgun before demanding prescription drugs from the CVS pharmacy on West Main Street Tuesday night.

Bellevue police Capt. Matt Johnson said the man entered the store about 7:20 p.m., walked to the pharmacy counter in the rear, showed a handgun, and demanded narcotics. He fled with an undetermined amount of drugs in a tan or gold-colored sport utility vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Blazer.

The robber was described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, about 5-foot-8, 175 to 200 pounds with blond hair. He was wearing a gray shirt and an Adidas hat with a marijuana leaf on it. Police said an accomplice was driving the getaway vehicle, but no description was available.
