No injuries reported at Bowling Green plant fire

BOWLING GREEN — The cause of an early morning fire Monday at a Bowling Green plant is still under investigation.

A fire at Toledo Molding & Die Inc., 515 East Gypsy Lane Road, started in a pile of plastic pellets just after 1 a.m., said Bowling Green fire Chief Stephen Meredith.

The cause is still under investigation, but “there’s no apparent cause,” Chief Meredith said.

The “huge” pile is about 75 feet from the plant and is stored outside.

The plant’s third-shift crew was in the building at the time; no injuries were reported and the plant is open and operational.

No damage was done to the plant.
