Toledo police have arrested one of three men believed to be involved in a recent South Toledo home invasion, in which they told the occupant they were police executing a search warrant.

William Crowell, 21, of 2277 Avondale Ave. was arrested within hours of warrants being filed charging of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and felony impersonating a police officer.

Authorities said three men barged into a Moran Avenue home early Tuesday and ransacked the house after telling the 24-year-old victim they were executing the warrant. Two of the men had guns. They left with two video gaming systems, the victim’s cell phone, her keys, and her car, which was recovered nearby.

Crowell is set to be arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court.
