MORENCI, Mich. — A public service announcement has been produced as the next step in seeking information from the public in the case of the three missing Skelton boys.

Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks is asking newspapers and television stations to post the announcements on their Web sites. He also asked private organizations to post the video or link to it.

The boys, Andrew, 9, Alexander, 7, and Tanner, 5, have been missing since Thanksgiving Day. The boys’ father, John Skelton, 30, is charged with three counts of unlawful imprisonment in connection with their disappearance. He is in the Lenawee County jail in lieu of a $30 million bond.

Chief Weeks said he hoped the campaign, which authorities created through a collaboration with WTVG-TV, Channel 13, will attract help with the investigation.
