Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about an armed robbery and a related shooting Monday at the Stop-N-Go convenience store, 1256 Broadway in South Toledo.

Police said a man entered the store with a semiautomatic pistol about 11:05 p.m. and demanded cash and a cell phone from a clerk. After the clerk complied, the gunman chased a customer and shot him in the arm in an alley outside the store. The victim was later treated for the wound in an area hospital.

Police did not have a detailed description of the gunman, who was wearing black shorts, a T-shirt, and another shirt over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
