Man with gun robs West Toledo jewelry store

A police officer is on the scene of a robbery Friday at Safari Gems on Monroe Street.
Police are looking Friday afternoon for a man with a gun who robbed a jewelry store in West Toledo.
The suspect told the three people inside Safari Gems at 4334 Monroe St. to hit the floor after he entered the store. He then took money from the business and fled on foot out the rear door, police said.
The suspect was wearing a ski mask and gloves.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred around 1:20 p.m.
