After seeing him listed on The Blade’s Most Wanted page, the family of a Toledo teenager, charged with murder, turned him into police Tuesday, authorities said.

Gerald Banks, 18, is charged with killing Marquan McCuin on July 3. Mr. Banks was featured on the Most Wanted page as the “Crime of the Week.”

Mr. McCuin was shot once in the lung around 1:10 a.m. while riding his bicycle in an alley behind the 1100 block of Gordon Street in the central city. He was pronounced dead on the scene, police have said.

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Banks on July 5. Mr. McCuin is the ninth homicide victim this year.
