Two families were displaced by a house fire in Waterville early Tuesday, authorities said.

All occupants had escaped unhurt by the time fire crews arrived about 5 a.m. at 15 Naugatuck Way, according to the Lucas County Sheriff Office.

As of about 8:30 a.m., crews were still at the scene of the fire, deputies said.

The Lucas County Auditor’s Web site lists David and Cynthia Kerscher as the owners of the one story, part-brick house. It was built in 1978.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. There was no damage estimate available.
