Clues sought on 2 men running from site of slaying

Lucas County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program on the whereabouts of two men seen running from a Springfield Township apartment where a man was shot and killed last year, authorities said.

The victim, Joseph Linares, 21, was shot Jan. 9, 2010, while responding to a knock on his door at Lake of the Woods Apartments. He died less than an hour later at the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital.

Both men are described as about 6 feet, 4 inches tall, investigators have said.
