Tips wanted on store robbery

Toledo police are looking for the gunman who robbed a West Toledo pawn shop earlier this week.

Police say the suspect is a black man approximately 35 to 45 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing about 160 to 170 pounds, and has brown eyes. The man has a mustache and wore black-rimmed glasses. He was wearing a tan suit and a black Detroit Tigers baseball hat.

The man walked into Americash Jewelry & Pawn, 5752 Secor Rd., about 12:55 p.m. Wednesday and asked a store employee about electronics and then jewelry. While looking at the accessories, the man showed the employee a handgun and forced two employees to the floor. Two customers entered the store, but the gunman told them to leave and made the employees go into the bathroom. Before leaving the store, the gunman took 50 gold chains and a handgun.
