Toledo fire crews battled a blaze at a residence on Pulaski Street near Hamilton Street in Central Toledo Friday night.

The residents were not home at the time and no one was injured, said Toledo Fire Lieutenant Tom Kalucki. He did not have names of those who live in the home, at 402 Pulaski, which caught fire at about 11:49 p.m. Fire crews were able to bring it under control in 20 minutes.

Lt. Kalucki said he did not know the cause of the fire or, at this point, whether it was intentionally set. The Red Cross is assisting the residents, and an investigation is ongoing.

The Lucas County Auditor’s Office Web site lists the homeowner as Carolyn Campbell. The two-story, wood frame house was built in 1925.
