North Toledo man shot outside Spring St. home
8/11/2011A North Toledo man was shot more than once Wednesday outside a home in the 600 block of Spring Street, police said.
Kyle Mayes, 29, of St. John Avenue was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. A hospital spokesman said there was no information about a patient by that name.
Witnesses told police that just after 1 p.m., the gunman ran by Mr. Mayes, started shooting, and kept running. Initial reports were Mr. Mayes was shot once in the arm and once in the armpit.
