BLUFFTON, Ohio — Two teenagers were injured when a car and a sport-utility vehicle collided Thursday night at an intersection northeast of Bluffton, authorities said.

Samuel Neff, 16, of Rawson, Ohio, the driver of the SUV, and Dakota Gibson, 17, of Arcadia, Ohio, his passenger, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, according to the Hancock County’s Sheriff’s Office. The hospital did not release conditions.

Young Neff was driving east on Hancock County Road 313 at Orange Township Road 51 about 9:40 p.m. when authorities say he attempted to pass the car, which was starting to turn north onto Road 51. The SUV struck the car and overturned, deputies said.
