Gunman who wounded Toledoan sought
8/13/2011Authorities are investigating the shooting of a Toledo man early Friday on the street in the central city by another man who fled, authorities said.
Lamarcus Campbell, 27, of Hyatt Lane was treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound in the shoulder, Toledo police said.
The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. at Woodland Avenue and North Hawley Street, officers said.
Authorities said the victim was shot through the car window after dropping off a person asking for a ride who he had picked up at a gas station at Dorr and Hoag streets. The suspect then fled.
