Squirrel pulls plug for 4,000 in Fremont

FREMONT -- Nearly 4,000 customers were without power for more than two hours here Friday after a squirrel got into a substation in the city.

According to AEP Ohio, the outage occurred about 12:20 p.m. Power was restored by 2:30 p.m.

Fremont is about 40 miles southeast of Toledo.
