Toledo police are looking for suspects in several unrelated incidents in Toledo overnight that left four people injured, authorities said Thursday.

“Luckily there were no life-threatening injuries,” Toledo police Sgt. Phil Toney said. “It’s hard to correlate it with anything. Things are just like that. They are just up and down.”

Tyshaun Moore, 22, of Kent Street, was taken with a gunshot wound to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo police said. He was walking with two friends near Sherman and Locust streets in North Toledo about 9 p.m. Wednesday when he heard at least three gunshots and realized he’d been struck in the side of the head, police said. A hospital spokesman had no information about a patient by that name.

Devonte Browning, 17, was shot about 11:15 p.m. near I-75, Dorr Street, and Collingwood Boulevard in the central city. He was found lying on the floor in the front room of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound in the buttocks, according to the police report. He told police he was shot without provocation by one of several men who had approached him in an alley at Fernwood Avenue and Groesbeck Street. His condition was not released.

Daniel Born, 31, was beaten during a robbery about 12:50 a.m. Thursday at Church Street and Prentice Avenue in East Toledo. Several men approached him, demanding money, police said. There was no word on his condition.

The other beating occurred outside a residence in the 600 block of Collins Street near Collingwood Boulevard and West Central Avenue in the central city about 2:10 a.m. when three masked men, all carrying guns, attacked Keith Chisholm 33, as he was walking up to his house. They pistol-whipped him and then robbed him of cash, jewelry, and a smartphone, police said.

Finally, in yet another shooting early Thursday, a firearm was discharged outside Ship & Shore Night Club, 2660 Consaul St., but no one was shot, police said. The case is under investigation.
