Two men shot in North Toledo
10/18/2011A 19-year-old Toledo man is in critical condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after he was shot in the neck late Monday night.
Police found Alejhandro Reyna lying in the side yard of 821 Bush St. in North Toledo just before 10 p.m. Monday. While officers were at the scene, Robert Jones, 25, of Toledo, said he was also shot underneath his left armpit.
A police incident report described Mr. Reyna’s injury as life threatening.
Mr. Jones told police that at least four armed people came through a field at Bush and Michigan Avenue and fired at least 10 rounds.
He also told police they possibly drove away in a red sport-utility vehicle that was parked on Michigan.
Mr. Jones was taken to Mercy St. Vincent where he was treated and released.
