Police investigate shooting in central Toledo
10/23/2011Police are investigating a shooting Sunday night in central Toledo that sent one person to the hospital.
The victim, whose name was not available, was taken to Toledo Hospital in a vehicle after he was apparently shot in the chest about 8:30 p.m.
Callers told authorities that they heard gunshots near Fernwood and Forest avenues. Police were unable to locate the victim at the scene and do not have a suspect in the shooting.
