Suspect arrested in central Toledo stabbing
10/29/2011A 57-year-old man was arrested in connection with a stabbing Friday night in central Toledo.
Rodney Sanders, for whom no address was listed, is charged with felonious assault stemming from the 11:20 p.m. stabbing of Ryan McElya in the 1400 block of Yates Street, near Stickney Avenue.
Mr. McElya was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition Saturday morning.
Mr. Sanders was booked into the Lucas County jail pending arraignment Monday morning in Toledo Municipal Court.
