LYONS, Ohio -- Investigators with the Fulton County Crime Stoppers program are seeking help solving two October bank robberies.
About 11 a.m. Oct. 14, a man with a handgun robbed the State Bank in Lyons of an undisclosed amount of money. Investigators believe the same man robbed the Sherwood State Bank in Ridgeville Corners about 40 minutes later. He was described as thin, white, and about 6 feet tall and wore a ski mask and sunglasses. He fled in a black, small or midsize vehicle with a spoiler, black rims, shiny hub caps, and orange letters on the back.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-255-1122. Callers could qualify for a reward and may remain anonymous.
