BOWLING GREEN — A missing Middleton Township man found two days after his car crashed died from blunt force injuries from the accident, according to a preliminary report Thursday from the Wood County coroner.

The body of Bradley Frankart, 50, of Dunbridge, was found Monday by township firefighters underwater in a ditch along Mercer Road near Devils Hole Road.

Mr. Frankart’s 1980 Honda Accord was found unoccupied by the Ohio Highway Patrol after it went off the road and crashed about 9:30 p.m. on Mercer, just south of State Rt. 582. Earlier searches in the area by the township fire department and Wood County Sheriff’s Office did not locate his body.
