BOWLING GREEN — Police in Bowling Green have obtained a new EZ Child ID System.

The system allows police to provide identification materials to parents during child safety fairs and other events, authorities said. It allows police to generate digital fingerprints, photograph, video, and audio files gathered through interaction with the children. Police can then provide paper documents and digital files to the parents.

The First Federal Bank and First Insurance Group of Bowling Green contributed a total of $2,500 toward the system.
