Using a popular social networking Web site, a 34-year-old man allegedly solicited underage girls to perform nude Web cam modeling, authorities say.
Daniel Jones, whose address was not immediately available, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with one count of attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, authorities from the Perrysburg Police Department said.
Mr. Jones was arrested about 12:15 p.m. at Levis Commons Boulevard, police said.
A news release from Perrysburg police states that Mr. Jones is being held at the Wood County jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond, but jail authorities say no person by that name is currently incarcerated.
Calls to Perrysburg’s Deputy Chief Mike Gilmore and the Wood County Prosecutor Paul Dobson were not immediately returned.
