Woman critically hurt in Springfield Township accident

A Toledo woman was hospitalized at the University of Toledo Medical Center in critical condition early Sunday after being thrown from a vehicle in an accident in Springfield Township, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Elizabeth Musch, 30, was ejected from a vehicle being driven by Kevin M. Musch, 29, of Holland, about 1:50 a.m.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, Mr. Musch lost control of the 2002 Ford Expedition he was driving, went off the left side of the road, and struck some trees.

Also riding as passengers were John Cunningham, 33, Sam Smith, 29, Sandy Russell, 30, and Florence Jung, 30, all of Toledo, according to the state patrol. Troopers said all other occupants suffered injuries but none required transportation to a hospital.
