Sketch of Sunoco gas station robbery suspect in Monroe, Mich.

MONROE -- City police have released a sketch of a man who they say is a suspect in a gas station robbery.

The suspect is said to have entered the Sunoco gas station at 15522 S. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe Township about 5 a.m. Monday with a handgun. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk and fled.

The suspect is described as in his early to mid 60s, with a gray stubble beard, about 5 feet, 8 or 9 inches tall, and weighing 200 to 215 pounds.
