Tips needed in Sylvania on thefts of credit cards

Sylvania police are requesting help in identifying two women who are accused of spending thousands of dollars while using stolen credit cards.

Police say the two women went into a regional business and spent nearly $6,300 on a stolen credit card. Details of the incident were unavailable.

Authorities report a trend of two or more suspects entering a business and while one distracts a clerk, an accomplice goes into an employee-only area looking to steal credit cards or cash. Anyone with information should call 419-885-8907.
