Toledo police search for robber of pizza shop
2/22/2012Police are looking for the man who they say robbed a South Toledo pizza shop at gunpoint for $100.
A man wearing a white T-shirt over his face went into Marco’s Pizza, 1419 South Ave., at about 3:24 p.m. Tuesday, armed with a black revolver, and demanded cash from the employee behind the counter.
The man put the cash into a brown plastic bag and then fled out of the back door.
Police describe the man as black, about 5 feet, 9 inches, and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black Carhartt jacket with a black hood that covered his head, with the white shirt across his face.
