Police look into South Toledo shooting

Toledo police Wednesday night were investigating the shooting of a person in the 800 block of Byrneport Drive in South Toledo.

The person reportedly was shot outside an apartment complex there about 8:15 p.m.

The person was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital.

The severity of injury was not yet known.
