Police investigate shooting early Monday

Toledo police are investigating another shooting Monday morning after one of the most violent weekends of the year.

Montrese Finn, age unlisted, was shot at about 1 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Indiana Avenue, police said.

His condition is unknown, although the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Within city limits, five people were shot Friday through Sunday — one fatally.

Montrese Moore, 19, was shot and killed at about 8:33 p.m. Friday at a North Toledo gas station, 1530 Cherry St. Also wounded there were Creonna Ballard, 18, and Robee Ware, 19.

Moore is the sixth person to be slain in Toledo this year.

In the early hours on Saturday, Brandon Braggs, 31, was shot in the 1000 block of Blum Street, near Forest Avenue, in central Toledo.

Police have arrested James Dunn, 40, for the assault. He is to be arraigned Monday morning in Toledo Municipal Court.

On Sunday, just before 5 a.m., Mark Bollinger, 24, was shot in the heel outside his Leonard Street residence in East Toledo.
