Police arrest 33 during raid at central Toledo bar

Toledo police arrested 33 people early Sunday morning after executing a search warrant at a central city bar.

Police — including multiple units and assistance from the state’s Liquor Control Board — went to Big Shot’s Bar, 931 W. Central Ave., at about 12:40 a.m.

Inside the bar investigators found 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana, valued at $2,400; 1 gram of crack cocaine, valued at $100; 1 gram powder cocaine, valued at $200; 1 Ecstasy pill, valued at $25; drug paraphernalia; and counterfeit currency, according to a police incident report.

Of the 30 people who were arrested, all but one are from Toledo; the other is from Sylvania.

Charges range from obstruction of justice, concealed-carry, various drug charges, tampering with evidence, and weapons charges. Multiple people were also arrested for outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants.
