Fire shuts down eatery in W. Toledo

A fire of an as yet undetermined origin caused an estimated $45,000 damage Wednesday to The Big Catch Seafood restaurant at Telegraph and West Alexis roads in West Toledo, authorities said.

There were no injuries, according to the Toledo fire department.

The cause was under investigation; the damage estimate included fire and water damage to the building and its contents, according to the report.

The restaurant, owned by Shean Harb of Harb Estate Management LLC, was closed until further notice pending inspection of stored food and the kitchen by Toledo-Lucas County Health Department.
