A Toledo fire crew reported Monday morning that a central city home that burned overnight had rekindled.
A fire at 2736 N. Detroit Ave. was reported by the crew at 9:08 a.m., closing North Detroit and Lawrence Avenue, a fire dispatcher said. The vacant house initially caught fire sometime around 4 a.m. Monday, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
The Detroit Avenue fire was just one of several that kept crews busy in the early morning hours.
At about 3:27 a.m., a fire was reported at 2563 Foraker Ave. in South Toledo. No injuries were reported.
A fire in West Toledo temporarily closed West Sylvania Avenue, near Fairview Drive, although roads were open again by 7:30 a.m.
