Wood Co. officials investigate death of 3-month-old boy
5/6/2012BOWLING GREEN — Wood County law-enforcement officials are investigating the suspicious death of a 3-month-old boy who died Saturday in Bowling Green.
The baby died Saturday evening after he was taken to Wood County Hospital from his rural Bowling Green home, according to the sheriff’s office.
More details were unavailable this afternoon.
It is at least the second suspicious child’s death in the Bowling Green area in recent months.
On March 1, Emma Zehnpfennig, 2, died of severe head trauma.
The Bowling Green girl’s death was ruled a homicide, but police said last month no arrest warrants have been issued.
