Man drowns in pond in Williams County

HOLIDAY CITY, Ohio -- Officials await dental records to determine the identity of a man found floating in a pond Monday, but a preliminary autopsy report released Tuesday shows that the man drowned.

The man's body was found by two fishermen on Monday afternoon in a retention pool behind a Ramada Inn.

Holiday City is off the last westbound exit on the Ohio Turnpike.

The autopsy was done by the Lucas County Coroner's Office.

The investigation by the Williams County Sheriff's Office is ongoing.
