Two Toledo men were being held in the Lucas County jail Tuesday after police found stolen copper inside the North Toledo house they were frequenting.

Charged were Clay Corley, 20, of 3250 Stickney Ave. and Sheldon Curry, 19, of 629 Locust St. Both were charged with receiving stolen property, criminal tools, and obstructing official business after police executed a search warrant at 3154 Pomeroy St. Each man also had outstanding warrants, police said.

The copper is worth an estimated $2,100, police reported.

The men were being held in the jail in lieu of $5,000 bond each.

According to a police incident report, police went to the home at about 10:30 a.m. Monday and found piles of copper wire, copper tubing, and "criminal tools."

Warrants were issued for four other people, who all live at the house, according to the incident report.
