A homeless man accused of taking off all his clothes in front of children at a community center in central Toledo was released Friday because the jail was over capacity, authorities said.

Robert Bankston, 43, had been in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100 bond, according to an affidavit filed at the Toledo Municipal Court.

The suspect was arrested at the Frederick Douglass Community Center, 1001 Indiana Ave. at North Hawley Street about 6 p.m. Thursday.

He was charged with public indecency, a misdemeanor charge, according to jail records.

Details of the incident were unavailable.
