Felony charges were dismissed Monday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court against two Toledo brothers arrested this year after a shooting outside a now-shuttered North Summit Street bar.

Rhaymoun Villolovos, 20, and Richard Villolovos, 22, both of 3460 Rock Ct., were charged with five counts each of felonious assault with gun specifications for the Feb. 6 shooting outside Mugshots. Judge Linda Jennings dismissed the case at the request of the prosecutor’s office.

The assistant county prosecutor said that although the investigation initially led to the two men, witnesses have not since been able to identify them as the shooters. Six people were injured in the shootings, which resulted in a Toledo Municipal Court judge ordering the bar be closed as a city nuisance.
