The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with unknown injuries, according to Northwood police.

Emergency crews responding to a report of a person trapped at a Norplas Industries, Inc. plant at 7825 Caple Blvd. arrived about 4:11 a.m. and found the victim trapped between a rack and a forklift, a police and fire dispatcher said.

About 4:44 a.m., the victim was extricated and transported to the hospital, the dispatcher said.
