Authorities are looking for an armed man who robbed a West Toledo bank Wednesday and pedaled away on a bicycle.

The man, who had a black semiautomatic pistol, walked into the Huntington Bank, 3711 Monroe St., just after 3 p.m. and demanded money from tellers, authorities said. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was last seen on a dark-colored BMX bicycle.

Authorities say the assailant is black, 20-25 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, and about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black plastic-looking mask, a black zippered hooded sweatshirt, and black sweat pants. He also carried a black backpack.

Authorities ask anyone with information to call the Crime Stopper program, 419-255-1111, or the FBI, 419-243-6122.
