3 people hurt in Monclova Twp. crash

A minivan and a pickup truck collided at a Monclova Township intersection Saturday, injuring three people, the Ohio Highway Patrol reported.

A minivan driven by Brooklyn Lipinski, 18, of Waterville was southbound on Jerome Road when it ran a red light at Monclova Road and collided with an eastbound pickup driven by Eric Frankforther, 32, of Pemberville about 11:15 a.m., troopers from the patrol’s Toledo post said.

Both drivers and a passenger in the pickup were transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly Medical College of Ohio Hospital, for treatment of injuries that troopers said were not believed to be life-threatening.
