Man found dead likely a homicide victim
6/10/2012A man was found dead, likely because of homicide, in North Toledo Sunday morning.
He was found face down, naked in a field in the 2900 block of Buckeye Street. The body was discovered by a passer-by, who called 9-1-1.
The manner of death is not clear and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday, according to Dr. Diane Barnett, a Lucas County deputy coroner.
Dr. Barnett said the victim is an African-American man in his 20s, but could not identify him further as the man’s next-of-kin had not yet been notified of his death.
