FOSTORIA — A 50-year-old Alvada, Ohio man was killed early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Seneca County near Fostoria, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Jeffrey Kinn was traveling west on Big Springs Township Road 56, just west of U.S. 23 at about 3:30 a.m. when his vehicle went off the right side of the road and stuck a traffic sign. Mr. Kinn then drove the vehicle back onto the roadway, veered off of the left side of the road, overturned, and struck a utility pole, troopers with the patrol's Fremont post said.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was "partially ejected from the vehicle," troopers said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
