Two people were injured, one critically, Sunday when a car in which they were riding rear-ended a truck on I-475, Perrysburg police said.

Roderick Munro, 41, of Grand Rapids, Mich., was taken by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. He was in critical condition, according to the police.

His daughter Kaylee Munro, 17, of Tennessee, was listed in fair condition this morning.

The hospital spokesman said no information was available for Mr. Munro.

The car driven by Mr. Munro hit a truck pulling a trailer in a warning area for construction for a bridge project over the Maumee River.

Two people in the truck were not injured, police said. The truck was moving slowly in traffic just before the crash occurred, police said.

The crash about 2:30 p.m. closed a portion of northbound I-475 until about 5 p.m.
