Man robbed, shot in South Toledo

Nathaniel Jackson, 23, was shot in the hand during a robbery attempt in South Toledo about 12:25 a.m. Saturday, according to Toledo police.

Sgt. Bill Wauford said the victim told police a man tried to rob him in the 3400 block of Gibralter Heights Drive and the two struggled over the suspect's gun, which went off, striking the victim's hand.

No arrests have been made in the case. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
