Michigan man injured by tractor

CAMDEN, Mich. -- A Michigan man is in critical condition after a tractor went off the road Saturday night.

Charles Leroy Kurtz, 60, of Camden, was traveling southbound on a tractor on South Edon Road about 8:16 p.m.

Mr. Kurtz fell off the tractor and the vehicle ran over him, according to a Hillsdale County Sheriff's report.

Mr. Kurtz was taken to Hillsdale Community Health Center and later flown to Toledo Hospital.

He is listed in critical condition.

Alcohol appears to be a factor in the incident, the report said.

The incident remains under investigation.
